Compassionate Care for Every Birthing Person
Bringing a baby into the world can be beautiful—and also incredibly overwhelming. I’m Bethany, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and birthworker based in Louisiana. I specialize in supporting individuals through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and perinatal loss. I'm especially passionate about supporting queer and trans birthing people, as well as others with marginalized identities, who are often left out of traditional perinatal spaces and face systemic barriers to care. Whether you're experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, miscarriage, or stillbirth- you don’t have to navigate it alone.
My approach is affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in reproductive justice. As a full-spectrum doula, I bring a holistic understanding of the entire reproductive journey- from conception through postpartum. I’ve also completed specialized training through Postpartum Support International to assess, diagnose, and treat perinatal mental health disorders.
In our first session, I'll complete a thorough assessment and work with you to create a personalized action plan that supports your healing and helps you reconnect with yourself. My goal is to offer a space where you feel seen, heard, and truly supported- because every birthing person deserves high-quality, compassionate care.
